In this paper, the thermal conductivity of CuO/EGâwater nanoïuid in different temperatures and solid volume fractions and has been studied experimentally. The nanoïuid has been prapared in different solid concentrations ranging from 0.1% to 2% and temperatures within 20 to 50 Â°C. Using the KD2 Pro instrument, the thermal conductivity of the nanoïuid has been measured. Based on the experimental data, new correlations for predicting the thermal conductivity of CuO/EGâwater at different temperatures have been proposed. The results indicate that with the increase of the solid concentration, the thermal conductivity of the nanoïuid increases. Also, the thermal conductivity of the nanoïuid increases while the temperature increases. This increase is by far more noticeable in higher solid concentrations compared with lower solid volume fraction. This means that it is the presence of nanoparticles in the base ïuid that causes the increase ofthe effect of temperature on the thermal conductivity.
